Sansahash Summer Blog Tour

Today is the last stop of the Sansahash Summer Blog Tour and everyone has shared such amazing Creations/Mashes/Hacks, I know my to-sew list has gotten bigger during this tour.

I made this GORGEOUS Mila Dress which has a retro vibe. Suitable for knits or woven I made mine in a 100% cotton woven from The Material Girl Australia, this print is coming for retail again soon so if your not already a member of the VIP group go click join now to get notified when its listed.

This was such a quick sew and I already have another planned in a black and white stripe for a Paris themed party coming up, I think its going to be gorgeous and I can’t wait to create it. It’s going to be great next summer as its light and breezy which will be perfect for our LONG, HOT summers and for wearing all day and after the beach. I can see this pattern getting made up a few times.

My favorite feature is definitely the pleats – I had a shocker getting them right, I didn’t read the instructions correctly, but once I did they fit together perfectly and really made this dress come to life. If your not a pleat girl then there is also an option for a gathered skirt as well.

I love the low v back option as well which you need to you for a woven fabric as there is no closures in this dress. There is a higher rounded back option as well – cause you gotta have options!
